Yes they may cause a fire in your butt the next day, but who cares… you’re burning fat too right?

The hottest peppers contain something called capsaicin which has been shown to not only reduce appetite, but also boost your metabolism. (studies 1, 2, 3)

If you don’t like spicy food however, then it kinda sucks.

But what if you love spicy food, you should be stick thin by now right?

Well, not quite. Studies have shown that we can build a tolerance level for spiciness, so the fat loss benefits won’t be as great for you if you chow down chillis like a crazy person.

Eat peppers if you can stand the heat, because they have a fat fighting ingredient called capsaicin, which has been shown to suppress appetite and burn fat.

Another study produced some astonishing results. It documented that taking 1-2 tablespoons of cider vinegar each day, lead to losing 2.6 to 2.7 pounds over a 12 week period.

It’s known to contain an antioxidant called EGCG, which is used in a lot of supplements due to its bioavailability.

This antioxidant can cause an increase in norepinephrine activity, helping to to detach those nasty fatty acids from your fat stores.

Green tea can also help with boosting your metabolism by 3-4% as some studies (4,5)  suggest. Also increasing your fat burning efforts by up to 17%.

Drink more green tea, it contains EGCG and caffeine, which can help you to boost metabolism and encourage your body to burn more fat.
